Mustafa Bugrein is an American-Libyan business professional whose career spans two continents and multiple industries. He founded MBGlobalConnect with a clear mission: to provide Libyan businesses with the same access to global markets that larger, more established companies enjoy.
His background combines hands-on experience in business development, international sourcing, healthcare operations, regulatory coordination, and cross-border tradeโ expertise gained through real-world work in both the United States and Libya, not just theory.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Mustafa holds U.S. citizenship and brings a unique combination of international credibility and an in-depth understanding of both the Libyan and global markets. This dual perspective is what sets MBGlobalConnect apart.
From Detroit to benghazi
A journey built through international business development, healthcare operations, strategic sourcing, and global partnerships.
Business Development in Healthcare
Mustafa began his international business career in Detroit, Michigan, working within the physical therapy industry and focusing on business development and healthcare growth strategy.
Over five years, he built strategic referral networks with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, chiropractors, and healthcare administrators.
He later managed the sourcing and operational setup of a new physical therapy clinic securing all equipment for a three exam room facility at nearly half the allocated budget.
International Business Development at ASAJ
In 2024, Mustafa relocated to Libya and joined ASAJ (Al Sharq Al Jadid Co.) as a Business Development Specialist.
His responsibilities expanded into supplier relations, forecasting, international communications, and regulatory coordination.
He collaborates with European manufacturers and supports medical product registration initiatives with the Libyan Ministry of Health.
International Exhibition Representation
Mustafa represented ASAJ internationally at CPHI Milan (2024) and CPHI Frankfurt (2025), establishing new supplier and partnership channels.
Through direct engagement with manufacturers and suppliers, he helped expand sourcing opportunities for the Libyan market.
His sourcing work also expanded into food, hospitality, and agricultural sectors.
Three Pillars of Expertise
Extensive Cross‑Industry Experience
Our experience is not limited to one sector or one market. Mustafa has worked across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food import, hospitality, construction, and industrial supply, in both the US and Libyan markets.
This means we understand your industry's specific needs, supplier landscape, and quality standards, regardless of what sector you operate in.
Proven International Credibility & Negotiation
MBGC is built on practical international business experience and trusted relationships developed across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the United States.
Mustafa has negotiated supply agreements, managed exclusive distribution relationships, coordinated imports and forecasting, and facilitated communication between global suppliers and the Libyan market, consistently securing high quality products while maintaining cost efficiency.
His participation in global trade exhibitions and direct engagement with manufacturers worldwide gives him a strong understanding of international business culture, supplier expectations, and long term partnership development.
Long‑Term Vision for Libyan Business Growth
MBGC was created with a long term vision: to serve as a permanent, trusted bridge between Libya and the global business community. Our goal is not to complete a transaction and disappear, it is to build lasting partnerships that grow with your business.
We aim to help Libyan companies access international products, partnerships, expertise, and opportunities, while also helping foreign companies better understand and confidently enter the Libyan market.
By combining international experience with deep local understanding, MBGC contributes to the growth of modern, globally competitive Libyan enterprises.
"Creating sustainable partnerships that strengthen Libya's role in global trade."
To become the most trusted international business bridge for Libya, enabling Libyan enterprises to compete globally and helping international companies enter the Libyan market with a partner they can rely on.
To connect Libyan businesses to the global market with confidence, reliability, and results, by providing expert sourcing, negotiation, and business development services that reduce risk and maximize value.

Where We Source From
We maintain active supplier relationships across multiple countries and regions, giving you access to the best products at competitive prices.
And additional European and international markets as needed for your specific requirements.
US Citizenship & Credibility
Mustafa holds a US passport and spent years working and building a professional reputation in the United States. This gives MBGC immediate credibility with international suppliers who may be unfamiliar with or cautious about the Libyan market. When we represent you, we carry international trust.
True Bilingual Fluency
Fully fluent in both Arabic and English, not just conversational. Mustafa negotiates contracts, writes proposals, attends international meetings, and manages relationships in both languages without the need for an interpreter. This eliminates one of the most common and costly friction points in international business.
Established Supplier Relationships
We do not start from zero. MBGC comes with an existing network of vetted manufacturers and suppliers across North America, South America, Europe and Asia. When we approach a supplier on your behalf, we come as a known contact, which means faster responses, better terms, and more honest conversations.
Deep Libya Market Knowledge
We understand how business works inside Libya, the regulatory environment, the cultural expectations, the payment dynamics, and the relationship based nature of the market. We translate between international supplier requirements and Libyan business realities, so deals actually get done.
Cross Sector Sourcing Capability
Whether you need medical equipment, food products, hospitality supplies, construction materials, or industrial goods, we have sourced across all of these categories. You do not need multiple consultants for multiple sectors. One trusted partner, multiple capabilities.
Transparency & Reliability First
Our business model is built on long-term relationships, not one-time transactions. We operate with full transparency on pricing, supplier options, and timelines. Our reputation is our most valuable asset, and we protect it by delivering on every commitment we make.
